About the Michigan Mission Center

The Community of Christ Michigan Mission Center is the body that supports congregations and mission across the state. It is not a separate church: it is how Community of Christ organises its shared life here — pastor support, camps, youth work, and the practical help that lets small congregations keep meeting.

If you are not sure which congregation is right for you, or you would like someone to talk to before you visit anywhere, the mission center office can help. It is at 1628 E Grand River Ave, East Lansing, MI 48823, and the email address is [email protected].

Camps, retreats and shared ministry

Community of Christ in Michigan also runs campgrounds and ministry centres used for summer camp, retreats and gatherings through the year. If you are looking for a camp for a child, a quiet weekend, or a place to bring a group, the mission center lists them all.

If Brighton is within reach

We meet at 4621 Bauer Rd in Brighton, just off the I-96 corridor. Sunday worship is at 9:30 AM and we meet again on Wednesday at 7:00 PM. We are a short drive from Howell, Hartland, Milford, South Lyon, Whitmore Lake and Fowlerville, and visitors come to us from across Livingston County.

There is no dress code, no test of belief and no expectation that you know anyone. Come as you are, sit where you like, and stay for conversation afterwards if you would like to.
